  1. Short: xterm's newest Workbench w/TCPish stuff

  4. This is a picture of my Workbench, with various AmiTCP-ish stuff going on.

  6. It is very different from the last Workbench picture I made. Date this
  7. one 27-Nov-93. The last one was made 18-Apr-93.

  13. An explanation of the windows:
  14.  
  15. The shell in the lower-lefthand corner has the output of
  16.     'more s:.emacs-menu.menu'
  17. The MEmacs window directly on top of it is editing AmiTCP:db/services
  18. The shell in the lower-middle has various commands in it.
  19. The GNU Emacs window in the middle is running gopher.el. (Yes, gopher
  20.     natively on my Amiga...)
  21. In the upper-lefthand corner, I had just run MegaBall, so those
  22.     directories were open.
  23. SunClock displays a map of the world, showing which parts are light
  24.     and dark. You can get this from AmiNet.
  25. DynamiCache is a very good disk caching program. You can buy it from
  26.     mail order, or it comes bundled with the FastLane Z3 SCSI-II
  27.     board. (I am a betatester...)
  28. The ToolManager window has the 'Squire' font (from Aminet) in italics.
  29.     The 'Preferences' and 'UUCP' buttons unveil two more
  30.     ToolManager panels, with various functions onthem.
  31. The 'Most' window near the very top of my Workbench is reading the
  32.     file 'S:.emacs.el'...S:.emacs is hardlinked to S:.emacs.elc...
  33.     this results in a moderate speed increase
  34. The GNU Emacs window in the upper-righthand corner has KiwiIRC loaded.
  35.     The only other IRC clients for the Amiga are for AS225R2,
  36.     so I have to use an Emacs client.
  37. The middle-righthand window has a napsaterm session to a local
  38.     host. (copper) See the part where I selected and drool. :)
